What does stacking mean on my Pennsylvania auto insurance policy?

Stacking means that if you have two or more Pennsylvania auto insurance policies in your household, you can stack or combine the uninsured and underinsured auto insurance coverage of two auto insurance policies or two cars on the same policy. For example, if you have a car insurance policy and your spouse has a car with a separate auto insurance policy or your spouse is listed on the same auto insurance policy for a second vehicle, and further assume that you and your spouse both chose $100,000 in coverage for uninsured and underinsured auto insurance, if you choose stacking, you and your spouse will have $200,000 in uninsured and underinsured coverage. Stacking is a great idea because the cost to “stack” your household policies is very minimal. You cannot stack your liability coverage or your medical bill coverage. If you have further PA auto insurance coverage questions, contact our car accident attorneys serving Langhorne and other cities in Pennsylvania.
